  • What is a Quick Care Video Visit?

    A Quick Care Video Visit is a virtual appointment with a healthcare provider, allowing you to receive medical care from the comfort and safety of your home using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Quick Care Video Visits are available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and are offered for a flat fee of $49; insurance is not accepted or required. To use this service, you must be physically located in the state of Texas, as our clinicians are licensed to practice only in Texas.

  • Who can use Quick Care Video Visits?

    Quick Care Video Visits are available to patients aged six and older who require non-emergent medical care or consultation. Individuals ages 6-17 need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or medical proxy. Please note that to be eligible for this service you must be six years or older and be in the state of Texas, as our clinicians are licensed to practice only in Texas.

  • What should I expect during and after my Quick Care Video Visit?

    Your Quick Care Video Visit will be with a Texas Health provider via your smart phone, tablet, or computer. Your After-Visit-Summary will be available to you in Texas Health MyChart. Please allow up to 3 business days for your after visit summary to show up on your MyChart account.

    If needed, your provider will communicate with your Texas Health care team, including your primary care physician and specialists (if you have them), for any necessary follow-up care.

  • What conditions can be treated with a Quick Care Video Visit?

    Quick Care Video Visits can help with many common medical concerns for patients aged six and older. These include:

    • Cold and flu symptoms
    • Respiratory issues (like fever, cough, COVID-19, bronchitis, sinus infections, and sore throat)
    • Digestive complaints (such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and upset stomach)
    • Women’s health issues (bladder or urinary tract infections, yeast infections)
    • Allergies or skin problems (rashes, hives, infections, eczema, poison ivy/oak, athlete’s foot, ingrown toenails, cold sores)
    • Eye conditions (infections, irritation, pink eye, styes)
    • Other conditions such as headaches, migraines, back or joint pain, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, stings, and minor burns.

    While many concerns can be addressed virtually, some Quick Care Virtual Visits may require an in-person visit at a Breeze Urgent Care center to ensure comprehensive evaluation and treatment.

  • What technology is needed for a Quick Care Video Visit?

    Quick care video visits will work on most supported devices including Android phone/tablet, Apple iOS phone/tablet, Windows PC and Apple computers.

    To ensure your virtual visit is successful, please confirm that you are using a smart phone, tablet, or computer with the following features:

    • A working camera, speaker and microphone
    • The most recent versions of any internet browser you plan to use

    If prompted, please enable permission to allow your camera, speaker and microphone during the visit.

    It is also recommended that you have stable internet or cellular connection and find a quiet and private place to have your video visit.

  • What if I have questions or need support before or after my visit?

    Pre-Visit Support:

    For any troubleshooting questions prior to your appointment, please refer to the pre-visit email you received during registration, which contains helpful information.

    Post-Visit Inquiries:

    If you have any questions or concerns after your Quick Care Video Visit, please contact us at 682-236-9696 for assistance.

  • What should I have ready for my appointment?

    Have a list of your symptoms, current medications, and any questions for your provider. Be in a quiet, private location and ensure your device is charged or plugged in.

  • Can prescriptions be provided through Quick Care Video Visits

    Yes, our telemedicine providers can prescribe non-controlled medication in accordance with state laws when deemed medically necessary. We can only provide a limited supply of long-term medications until you follow up with your primary care provider. We cannot refill controlled medications (narcotic pain relievers, benzodiazepines, etc.) Please contact your prescribing provider for these refills. Please ensure to confirm with your insurance carrier prior to a visit to confirm that the selected pharmacy is within your network.

  • How long does a Quick Care Video Visit last?

    Most visits last between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on your needs and the complexity of your condition.

  • Is my information private and secure?

    Yes, Quick Care Video Visits use secure, encrypted platforms to protect your privacy and comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.

  • Will my insurance cover Quick Care Video Visits?

    Quick Care Video Visits are offered at a flat rate of $49. Insurance is not accepted.
